Innovative rollFEED® inserts as well as fully
compatible technology hyperMILL® rollFEED® Turning allows you to quickly achieve the desired workpiece contours.
The innovative rollFEED® Turning technology was developed by Vandurit (Leverkusen, Germany), which specializes in tool manufacturing.
The entire rollFEED® process is approximately 80% faster than standard turning. It should be noted that even with the complex processing of three sides of the part, it is not necessary to change the tool. As a result, using this technology, fewer tools are needed, which in turn reduces costs. In addition, this technology results in a very high surface quality, similar to centerless turning or grinding.
Thus, Vandurit technology guarantees simplicity programming, no the need to change tools, a significant reduction in tool wear, as well as a reduction the number of tools needed.

In essence, what happens "intelligent" addition of the machine with the rollFEED® unit. The unit is mounted on a turret with tools. The cutting movement occurs by horizontal movement of the imaginary axis 'B' with simultaneous compensation along the 'X' and 'Z' axes.
Thus, the machine performs highly efficient processing. The following factors are special:
The specially shaped rollFEED® cutting blade passes over the surface of the workpiece during 3-axis movement. The point of intervention in this process is slightly above the incisor.
The movement creates a horizontal rotation of the tool while compensating for the resulting center offset on the X and Z axes.
Due to the large working radii, it is possible to work with much larger offsets than usual.
The technology ensures a high surface quality right up to the corners, the processing continues on the adjoining side of the part.

ROLLFEED® DEVICE
Given the different applications, rollfeed® device has different sizes (80mm / 125mm / 160mm).
