Each item is subjected to proper heat treatment and, upon request, different types of coverage are used.
For TORX PLUS keys
The TORX® PLUS slot was introduced to the market not so long ago, it is an evolution of the previous six-point slot, called TORX®.
The TORX® PLUS version allows for a tighter fit on the workpiece resulting in a higher tightening torque. This means that the six-prong slot requires a smaller hole depth than the TORX® version, while the guarantee that the pattern will last longer is increased.
The elliptical shape of the TORX® PLUS slot increases the contact surface, allowing a better and more efficient fit of the key in relation to the six-pronged hole. Thus, a reduction in torsional stress is guaranteed, resulting in a longer tool life.
